Working for and With Communities Program is back from Santiago, Chile!

As part of the Schiller Institute’s Working For and With Communities (WFWC) initiative, students, faculty, and staff traveled to Santiago, Chile in partnership with Hogar de Cristo and Universidad Alberto Hurtado. While in Chile, students worked in teams with community partners to create proposalsfor innovative programs designed to support individuals with intellectual disabilities and schizophrenia. On the final day on site, the teams presented their findings and design ideas to representatives from Hogar de Cristo, students from other universities, and community members.

Now back in Boston, the team continues to build on their experience—refining their proposals and deepening their commitment to inclusive, community-led change.
